Chocolate, Cheese, Meat, and Sugar — Physically Addictive

Chocolate, Cheese, Meat, and Sugar -- Physically Addictive Neal Barnard MD discusses the science behind food additions. Willpower is not to blame: chocolate, cheese, meat, and sugar release opiate-like substances. Dr. Barnard also discusses how industry, aided by government, exploits these natural cravings, pushing us to eat more and more unhealthy foods. A plant-based diet is the solution to avoid many of these problems. Neal Barnard is the founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). This is Dr. Barnard’s COMPLETE presentation from the VegSource HEALTHY LIFESTYLE EXPO 2003. To get a copy of this talk on DVD and many others, visit the VegSource store, see secure2.vegsource.com

Chocolate DIY Beauty Mask

Chocolate DIY Beauty Mask Hello sexy dumplings! So here is a fun DIY mask using chocolate! I missed doing DIY videos! Smells yummy but works great. This Summer, we can treat ourselves with chocolate….without the calories! Cocoa is high in anti-oxidants which help the skin to fight against free radicals. There are a few ‘Chocolate’ skincare products in the market but they are quite hard to find. Why not make your own mask and treat yourself? I love making my own masks because it’s so much fun and gives great results but remember that results don’t happen over night. You must be consistent and patient. I reckon it would be fun to make this for sleep over parties too. Why not? Give it a go! If you are allergic to any of the ingredients mentioned, do not try this remedy. Ps. Yes, I’ve tasted the mask before. It actually tastes pretty good! haha! Until next time, stay well guys Much love, Bubz xx Bubbi Brushes: Super excited about them. They should be launched Summer 2011. Step 3: Melt the chocolate Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe dish using the “defrost” setting. Microwave it in 10-second increments, stirring with a wooden spoon in between. Step 4: Start dipping Spear the cap of each strawberry with a toothpick, and use it to dip the bottom

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Director Tim Burton brings his unique vision and sensibility to Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story in this lavish screen interpretation. Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) is the secretive and wildly imaginative man behind the world’s most celebrated candy company, and while the Wonka factory is famously closed to visitors, the reclusive candy man decides to give five lucky children a chance to see the inside of his operation by placing “golden tickets” in five randomly selected chocolate bars. Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), whose poor but loving family lives literally in the shadow of the Wonka factory, is lucky enough to obtain one of the tickets, and Charlie, escorted by his Grandpa Joe (David Kelly), is in for the ride of a lifetime as he tours the strange and remarkable world of Wonka with fellow winners, media-obsessed Mike Teavee (Jordan Fry), harsh and greedy Veruca Salt (Julia Winter), gluttonous Augustus Gloop (Philip Wiegratz), and ultra-competitive Violet Beauregarde (AnnaSophia Robb). Over the course of the day, some of the children will learn difficult lessons about themselves, and one will go on to become Wonka’s new right hand. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory also stars Christopher Lee, James Fox, and Noah Taylor; the book was famously adapted to the screen before in 1971 under the title Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, with Gene Wilder as the eccentric candy tycoon.
